Our professional services include everything you need to plan, design, develop and deploy a complete Internet Solution for your business, non-profit organization, community action group or e-commerce project. We can build your community portal using the Joomla! content management system (CMS) that supports:
- Content publishing so that any member can submit articles for publishing on the website using their browser. All submissions must be approved by an administrator who can first edit (if needed) the article or simply approve it with a couple clicks of the mouse.
- Downloads section that provides links to documents for download in a central repository with descriptions and information about the document, such as number of pages, file size and file type. Members may submit downloads for approval by administrators.
- Links section to provide a central repository for relevant links to other websites such as the National campaign site, local registrar, online discussion groups, other campaign sites, other candidate's sites etc.
- A calendar system that provides multiple levels of calendaring, "Public" for announcements of meetings and events, "Group" for registered users, with categories to allow filtering to define the various committees events and meetings, and "Personal" to allow individual users to have a personalized version set up with filters applied to show only the events and meetings they desire to see.
- A Poll system that gives visitors an informal way to vote on issues and items of interest.
- A forum that allows groups to have private boards so that users may post internal discussions for access at anytime day or night by other users, as well as public boards that may be used for general discussion and announcements.
Plus much more using custom components and modules. This is a great way to get your content online!
Already decided? While Joomla! is free, experienced consultants for custom projects are not. Posting a deposit for consulting fees is a sure way to move any project along! |
